Route description to location 'Radix' (building no. 107) of Plant Research International on Wageningen Campus:

  • From A12 Utrecht-Arnhem: Take exit 24 Wageningen/Ede. Choose direction Wageningen and follow the Wageningen UR road signs with building numbers to building no. 107
  • From A50 Den Bosch-Arnhem: Take exit 19 Renkum/Wageningen. Drive through Renkum (N225) to Wageningen and follow the Wageningen UR road signs with building numbers to building no. 107
  • From A15: Take exit ‘Rhenen’. Follow signposts to Rhenen and then Wageningen. Once you enter Wageningen follow the Wageningen UR road signs with building numbers to building no. 107

Public transport

  • In the Netherlands:
    Trains from Schiphol Airport, Utrecht and Arnhem stop at Ede-Wageningen Station. Timetables are available from the site of the Dutch railways. For detailed travel information see www.9292ov.nl, the NS train journey planner or call 0900-9292.  
  • From Düsseldorf Airport (Germany) to railway station Ede-Wageningen.
    S-Bahn or taxi from Düsseldorf Airport to Düsseldorf Railway Station. International trains leave every two hours from Düsseldorf Railway Station to Arnhem (Holland). Timetables are available from the German railway site.
    At Arnhem Railway Station, change into Intercity or Stopping train to Ede-Wageningen. Total travelling time from Düsseldorf approx. 2 hrs. Timetables are available from the Dutch railways site.

From railway station Ede-Wageningen to Plant Research International
It is a fifteen-minute taxi ride from the station to Wageningen. Alternatively, bus numbers 88 (valleilijn) and 86S to Wageningen, bus stop 'Droevendaalsesteeg'. Follow the road signs up to building no. 107 (Radix, Droevendaalsesteeg 1).

Building number
All buildings of Wageningen UR have a unique building number. Signs along the main roads in Wageningen show where clusters of buildings are located (for example, buildingsnumbers 100-200). Within the various clusters, routes to individual buildings are shown. The building of Plant Research International is called 'Radix' and has building no. 107 on Wageningen Campus
