ID-Lelystad B.V. and Greenomics (Plant Research International B.V.) have started a cooperation with regard to structural genomics and applied bioinformatics for research in the veterinary field.
By joining forces they want to offer new opportunities for top research to partners and customers who can thus benefit from a rapid and reliable coupling of large amounts of genetic data with biological information. Due to this cooperation ID-Lelystad is also investing more in research involving genomics approaches intended to generate new leads for, among others, better diagnosticsand vaccines.
This partnership is also supportive with regard to other recent Dutch genomics collaborations and initiatives, in which expertises and facilities are shared to optimize research opportunities, such as the Genomics Centre Utrecht Wageningen, the Centre for Animal Genomics and the Centre for Biosystems Genomics.
ID-Lelystad B.V. and Plant Research International B.V. are part of Wageningen University and Research Centre. ID-Lelystad is an international contract research organization focussing on applied research in the areas of animal health, welfare and stress, animal feed, genetics and biomedical research and food safety.
