Friday 22 January 2010 more than 70 interested and involved visitors attended the final meeting 'Pepino mosaic virus; The European perspective' in Wageningen, the Netherlands. This meeting was organized to disseminate the results of this project which started in February 2007 and will officially end on 31 January 2010.

In the afternoon a group of about 40 representatives of different stakeholders groups (industry, testing labs, advisors, scientists and plant growers) discussed about:
• What does the PepMV damage amount to?
• Which stakeholders in the chain are suffering from PepMV damage?
• Which measures are feasible?
The results of this discussion will be added to the final report of the Pepeira project that will be presented to the European Commission in March 2010.
